As a coach, Janelle creates a safe space with each client to explore situations, challenge assumptions, and appreciate different perspectives. This, in turn, enables self-discovery, creativity in problem solving, and the development of bold goals and paths forward.

Additionally, she helps her clients develop a coach-like leader mindset to further unlock the potential within their teams and groups, thus enabling even greater innovation and grander results.

Janelle formerly held executive leadership positions in research, development, and operational organizations in the federal government. Today she does the same at the senior levels of commercial industry. She understands the intricacies of balancing strategy and execution, all while maintaining pace and work/life integration. Her career expertise has centered on leading large organizations, shepherding innovation, developing strategy, change management, navigating bureaucracy, and building high performance cultures that enable people to solve hard problems and create value for their company or organization. 

Whether commercial or federal, Janelle has experience coaching emerging and established leaders alike. She has extensive experience working with individuals, teams, and executives on leading with impact, leading through change, strategic planning, career transitions, further developing and honing skills, and supporting leaders in increasing organizational competencies and results. 

Janelle is a Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, with emphasis on leadership, performance, and executive coaching. She is also certified in team coaching with Team Advantage. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a Master of Science degree in Engineering. She has two sons who keep her busy with school, STEM, sports, and extracurricular activities.
